  • Have you ever felt like just sitting in a favourite room at home doing nothing special? - just relaxing? Every time you enter that room, something captivates you! It could be a plant or some other special item you placed there.

Plants can have positive effects on the human body.

According to a 2007 study, a bacterium in plant soil called Mycobacterium vaccae triggers the release of serotonin, which lifts mood and reduces anxiety. Therefore, interaction with indoor or outdoor plants can alleviate symptoms of depression. I have so many different plants at home. I am so grateful for the internet, as I have been finding out the uses of different plants. For many years, I thought plants were just for beauty, but recently I have been exploring the health and wellness benefits of plants.

Have you considered adding some plants to your home decor? Do your research. Some of these plants may be right there in your yard or garden at home. You might be surprised by how much they can improve your mood and well-being.

Here is a link to someone who has many kinds of flowers. He is located in the parish of St. Andrew, Jamaica.
