HERE ARE IMAGES OF SOME OF MY DIY AND ART PROJECTS

Do you have a passion for art and craft? Don't throw out your old binders, repurpose them, or wrap them and add new pages.

This to-do list was made from scrap paper and cutout shapes from an old gift bag.

This is an old binder journal that was wrapped using a used gift bag paper. It is glued to the original journal cover to give it a new look. The binder pages have been replaced with pages that I custom designed.

Here are five DIY ideas to enhance your living room:

  1. Gallery Wall: Create a gallery wall by framing your favorite photos, artwork, or prints. Use a mix of frame sizes and styles for an eclectic look. Arrange them on the floor first to find the best layout before hanging them.

  2. DIY Coffee Table: Build a simple coffee table using reclaimed wood or pallets. Sand it down, stain or paint it to match your decor, and add wheels for a rustic, mobile touch.

  3. Textured Throw Pillows: Sew your own throw pillows using different fabrics, like velvet, linen, or cotton. Experiment with colors and patterns to add depth and personality to your couch.

  4. Macramé Plant Hangers: Craft macramé hangers to showcase your plants. This not only adds greenery but also creates visual interest. Hang them near windows for a bohemian vibe.

  5. Mood Lighting: Create your own pendant lights or lampshades using materials like bamboo, fabric, or paper. You can customize the design and color to fit your theme, adding warmth and ambiance to the space.

These projects can personalize your living room while making it more functional and inviting!

Jaz up the cover of a few notebooks that you use often.

I have found it so relazing creating these designs from cartridge paper, wrapping paper and some designs of my own. Sometimes I design pieces of art on a book page or on a sheet of paper them use them later, for new book covers or for wall art.

Many years ago I did this. I need to refresh my macrame skills. It is such a beautiful craft. It is the art of knotting. So many beautiful household designs can be made from it.

Repurposing old furniture and household items can save you a few bucks if you do it yourself. Images coming soon.
